Nexus?

By definition, Nexus means “connection linking two or more things or the central most important point or place”. Your nervous system is not only the most important organ system in the body but is also your connection to life. We are a chiropractic team committed to connecting you to an active, results-based lifestyle. One that connects you to the community, to family, and to presence, productivity, and profit by ensuring optimal brain and nervous system function.

What We Value

Health

Our care addresses that every human being was meant to be healthy and vital—able to do the things they are passionate about for a lifetime.

Happiness

We believe that every individual was meant to be happy. A healthy nervous system has been proven to create healthy relationships with people, which we believe is your most valuable resource. Connections to others (healthy relationships) are what create lasting happiness.

Productivity

We believe that every human was meant to thrive regardless of which phase of life. We provide you with the support and resources to live a long, fruitful life expressing your Soul Purpose.

Dr. Daniel & Heather Kimbley

Dr. Daniel and Heather Kimbley both grew up in small towns in Indiana. Dr. Daniel graduated from Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis in 2008 with a Bachelor of Science in Secondary English Education and began teaching and coaching volleyball. His interest in brain development and learning led him to discover the benefits of chiropractic care for a healthy brain and nervous system.

Heather graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Athletic Training from Anderson University and pursued a PTA license from the University of Indianapolis. While working as a chiropractic assistant, she observed the healing potential of chiropractic care, which inspired her and Dr. Daniel to move to Georgia for Dr. Daniel to attend Life University, a prominent chiropractic school.

The Kimbleys are passionate about being values-based leaders in their community, fostering genuine relationships, and promoting a happier, healthier community. They enjoy outdoor activities such as CrossFit, yoga, surfing, hiking, wakeboarding, and boating. They have a daughter named Collette “Coco.”

Danielle R

Danielle was born and raised in Central Valley, California, and moved to Southern California in 2015. Before joining Nexus Family Chiropractic, she owned a clothing boutique and worked in retail management and human resources. Her interest in health and wellness led her to work for the nonprofit Learn the Risk, where she deepened her health knowledge. After experiencing significant benefits from chiropractic care at Nexus, she joined the team. Danielle lives in Dana Point with her boyfriend Nick and their dog Dolce. She enjoys coffee, sushi, Mexican food, hiking, and Barre. She is excited to be part of Nexus Family Chiropractic and looks forward to meeting new clients.

Westley

Westley was born in Southern California, and, as some have guessed, he was named after the hero from the book and movie “The Princess Bride”. When not at the office, “West” can be found indoor rock climbing, 3-D printing or building his immunity to iocaine powder (for legal reasons this is a joke). Before becoming a part of the team, he worked in a myriad of jobs ranging from the food industry to construction while simultaneously paying his way through college. His life changed when chiropractic care helped his body heal from tonsillitis, despite three doctors recommending surgery as his only option at the age of five. A researcher and geek at heart, he believes that knowledge and technology are great, but they truly find their purpose when utilized to bless others, helping them live a healthier, happier life. West is happy to apply that knowledge when meeting and working with clients at Nexus Family Chiropractic.

FRom the People we Serve

Real Stories. Real Change.

"My son is amazing us everyday with his brain development."

Our lives have changed in so many positive ways since beginning chiropractic care under Dr. Daniel and Heather in January 2019. I went in for neck and back pain that quickly went away. I now go weekly because I feel amazing! I am happier, healthier and able to handle stress more efficiently. My 2 year old is a healthy, growing boy and is amazing us everyday with his brain development and physical capabilities. I know that Dr. Daniel has and will continue to have a large impact on his development. Also, the office is amazing! They are friendly and we truly feel like family! Toys for the kids and room to run. We feel so fortunate to have found Daniel and Heather!

"Immediate change in my daughter."

My daughter, who is 7, has been seeing Dr. Daniel for only a few months. In the first month, we saw an almost immediate change in dietary issues and her ability to fall asleep, settle down at night! Within the second month, we were already seeing a change in her balance and coordination! What is amazing is that it was not only us, we have had other people noticing the changes as well. I wasn't sure what to expect in terms of change but we are so thrilled to have taken the leap in trying chiropractic care. Because our daughter was also diagnosed with inattentive ADHD, we are excited to see how this will change her progress in school this coming fall. Thank you, Heather and Dr. Daniel for your amazing care. Your knowledge and passion is exceptional and I would (and do) highly recommend you to everyone!

"My life changed."

My life changed, thanks to Dr. Daniel and Heather at Nexus Chiropractic. I was in so much pain that I hadn't slept for more than a couple of hours in 3 or 4 weeks. After a couple of adjustments and listening to the common sense life lesson from Daniel I have improved remarkably. My goals of playing golf, walking with my wife on a daily basis and all around well being have been achieved. I am proof positive that the care received at Nexus Chiropractic is a life changer.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is PiezoWave?

PiezoWave is a form of shockwave therapy that is designed to stimulate your body's natural ability to heal damaged tissue in specific areas of your body safely and effectively. PiezoWave has been shown to help stimulate your body's ability to use and activate stem cells, break up scar tissue, move inflammation, and even break up unnecessary bone tissue.

Where Can I Use PiezoWave?

PiezoWave can be used in a variety of areas on your body. It's great for ankles, knees, elbow, some low back/neck issues, shoulders and more. It's great for tendonitis and other soft tissue injuries.

Is PiezoWave Safe?

PiezoWave therapy is generally safe when performed by a trained professional in a clinical setting. After PiezoWave therapy, you can usually resume normal activities and light exercise, but you should avoid strenuous exercise, heavy lifting, or high-impact activities for the few hours following a session..

What Does It Feel Like?

PiezoWave sessions are unique in the sense that it provides something known as bio-feedback. This means that you will not feel anything when we use it over healthy tissue, and when we get over damaged tissue you will feel a slight dull ache that can be controlled to your comfort level. Because we get biofeedback, we can accurately pinpoint EXACTLY where your damaged tissue is so that you can get back to the game of life as quickly as possible.
